Would you like to see the use of networking games at the meetings? If yes, what kind of games would you like to see?
I can see the benefit of using icebreakers during the networking breakfast portion of the meeting. I think it can be difficult sometimes to "break into" conversations especially when you're new. I'm sure we could be creative and come up with something. I wouldn't necessarily recommend it for every meeting but it would be worth a try to shake things up a bit.
Once everyone is seated, the "game" is where everyone at each table has to create a connection (themselves/a friend) in the product/service the person next to them offers until the circle is complete - fastest table "wins". Then have that table tell the rest what the connection is. Ex. I use a computer/need updating yearly.....Computer person buys flowers for holidays....flower person goes to the bank for change....bank person gets messages...etc. Gets people thinking of how to use the other's biz.
That sounds very interesting Carol!
